The source of service and politeness Sant Baba Kashmir Singh Ji Bhuriwale was born on 12 Harh 1967 at the home of Sardar Buta Singh from the womb of mother Gyan Kaur. He studied from first to middle at the school of his village and studied higher secondary from Sri Guru Ram Dass Senior Secondary School, Amritsar. Baba Ji got service and manners from his mother in legacy because his mother used to take active part in the Panthak services being done by the follows of Sant Baba Gurdial Singh Bhuriwale and the service done by the community of Nirmla Sant Baba Jaimal Singh.

The religious domestic atmosphere of Baba Gurdial Singh Ji inspired Baba Kashmir Singh for services and worshipping and in the year 1989, he permanently started serving at the place of Baba Gurdial Singh Ji. By the blessings of Satgurus, Baba Kashmir Singh Ji deserved the patience, Sidak and service and Sant Baba Gurdial Singh Ji, during his life time, assigned the responsibility of `Jathedar’ of his service community to him in 1992. With Guru’s blessings, Baba Kashmir Singh completed the holy works assigned by Baba Kashmir Singh and have left over.

During the various Shabdawalis being celebrated by the Guru Sahiban, from time to time, Baba Ji used to arrange Langars for service. This includes Sri Guru Granth Sahib’s Gurutagaddi’s third centry’s occasion, at Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib Nanderh, for 40 days, high level Langars were historically organized. At such a big level, for preparing Langar day and night, Halwais in the number of hundred, sangats from the various villages of Punjab to distribute it, and the arrangements of the drinkable waters, aroused the mission of the gathering in whole of the world. Therefore, through holy service of Baba Kashmir Singh Ji, sangats are taught for self service and taking holy name of Gurus by connecting them with the publicity of Sikhism and putting big contribution therein and their constructions at various historical Gurudhams became part of the history of that holy work.

Baba Ji keep making efforts for provoking the Sangats in the weather of winter and summer, day and night for completely immediately the service works being done at various places. Baba Ji’s looks was so simple, i.e. round Dastar on head, black colored pair of shoes on feet, cotton chole of black colour and parna of Khadar on shoulder showed his simple and high life. Baba Ji feel satisfaction to assign the holy works to the administrators with patience at the completion of the service of places having feet-touch of Guru Sahibans. Due to his cool nature, whom so ever once meet him, does connects with him for always. This is due to this reason that there is a big gathering of his followers. He makes discussion with his associated by sitting along-with them before starting any work.

He has made full arrangements of the residence for the Sangat going for the darshan at Patna Sahib, by preparing 110 rooms with modern facilities, with the association of the Sangat of Gurudwra Bal Leela (Maini Sangat) near the Dashmesh Pita Sri Guru Gobind Singh’s birth place Takhat Sri Patna Sahib. Buses are arranged for the devotees for bringing and leaving at return and fro bringing them to Gurdwara Bal Lila Sahib from the station. Not all this but, besides arrangement of Langar 24 hours, big efforts have been made for packing Langar during travel for the devotees returning after doing darshan of Takhat Sahib.

The adjoining houses have been purchased in crores of ruppes to make open the path going to Gurudwara Sahib. Very soon, tower like 15 storyed building of 150 rooms are being started and at this place, Baba has project to construct rooms to the quantity of 1000. This fact is worth mentioning here that the goods being prepared by hand from the artisans for the projects of construction at Patna Sahib (wooden doors, bed, grills etc.) and besides this eatables for Langar, solid milk etc. are being brought from Sri Amritsar. Devotees are continued to go to Patna Sahib to do handy services. Due to the holy works started by Baba Ji, devotees have been much more willing to visit holy place of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

It is worth mentioning that service of washing has been started in the surroundings of 1932 Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib by Varsoa Baba Jaimal Singh (Nirmale) Bhuriwale on behalf of Sant Baba Karam Singh Ji Mardan Walas and in 1948, Sri Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee has assigned service of compound towards south for open it to the surroundings of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib. After this, there is a huge list of various works being done / done at the historical Gurudhams by the present chief Sant Baba Kashmir Singh Ji Bhuriwale of this community.

Beautiful Sukh-Aasan has been prepared at the Gurudwara Shaheedan Sahib in the memory of great warrior Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji. To make broad the premises of the Gurudwara Sahib, adjoining houses have been purchased in crores of rupees and this documents (registeries) have been handed over to the administrators. Over the car parking, beautiful Akhand Path Bhawan (20 rooms) and Sukh Aasan have been prepared. Interlocking tiles have been installed opposite the Gurudwara Baba Bota Singh – Baba Garja Singh Shaheed and floor has been beautified. Hall at Gurudwara Bibeksar has been enlarged and thereupon beautiful, rooms for Akhand Path, two new Nishan Sahibs and towards Gurudwara Ramsar Sahib, beautiful Darshni Deori’s work has been prepared. Works of the repair and painting of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Niwas, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Niwas, Baba Deep Singh Niwas and safety walls, grills in the Sarovar at Gurudwara Kolsar Sahib at Amritsar only, have been completed. With the assistance of the devotees, services of Sukh-Aasan and 10 rooms over the compound opposite of adjoining Dukh-Bhanjni Beri have been started.

They have done works of construction of the Sarovar and putting stones to the building of Gurudwara Sahib and surroundings, construction of Darshni Deori at Gurudwara Sangrana Sahib (where Mother Sulakhani had been blessed with sons), having feet-touch of the Sixth Patshah Sri Guru Har gobind Sahib Ji outside of Amritsar, room for Akhand Paths and building of Langar at Gurudwara Nanaksar Verka near Amritsar having feet-touch of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji. 20 kilometers from Patiala, beautiful rooms and Sukh-Aasan have been prepared for Sri Akhand Paths at Gurudwara Karhali Sahib having feet touch of the Sixth and Nineth Paatshah and at village Karhali construction of building of the Gurdwara Charan Kanwal Sahib Ji, is undergoing. The work of service of historical doors of Darshni Deori of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib is undergoing under supervision of Baba Kashmir Singh Ji. These doors are very near to be compelted. 100 rooms at Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib belonging to service of Sri Guru Teg Bahadar Niwas, in the memory of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji, have been constructed near Hardwar Sahib, at Guru Sahib Sant Sagar, Bauli Sahib Gandikhata’s new building, service thereof and in the main city of Ujjain, at the place where Guru Nanak Sahib Ji had discussed “Jeewan Mukti” with Bharthri Yogi, thereof works of new beautiful building, service of Langar Hall are being carried on with devotion. Very soon, at village Sultanwind adjoining with Amritsar, in the memory of the Sixth Paatshah Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib, service of new building of the beautiful Gurudwara Sahib will be started.

Loving creation of the nature, Baba Ji has prepared open excellent park and the adjoining place of Gurudwara Khooh Bhai Manjh besides doing planting in the various areas of the Amritsar City. He had made big effort to make pure the atmosphere by planting various trees of long lives like Jandh, Pippal, Tahli and Boharh.
